“Unsolicited advice is the junk mail of life.”

     –  Roy H. Williams in the March 29, 2021 edition of The Monday Morning Memo

Admittedly, I am on a bit of a Wizard run.  This is Roy’s fourth appearance in the last couple of weeks…

He’s right.  Again.

In personal life, unsolicited advice causes rifts, divides, and damages relationship equity.

In business life, unsolicited advice drives buyers away, demeans them, and violates all three principles of connect, collaborate and convince.

In real life, we toss junk mail in the garbage without even giving it a good look.

In real life, we ought to do the same with unsolicited advice.
