Long-time subscribers know I’m not big on rules — that I only have five of them.
In this week’s Monday Morning Memo, though, The Wizard laid out a pretty good first rule of persuasion. It ties to yesterday’s post on the RAIN Group’s book, Insight Selling. Connecting and Collaborating represent 2/3 of their model on professional sales — and meeting a prospect or Client where they are is the best way to connect and the only way to collaborate.
When we meet someone, we’re going to them.
It might be a Rule #5 Violation to disregard Roy’s first rule of persuasion. Just sayin’…
