“Whatever you think, be sure it is what you think; whatever you want, be sure that is what you want; whatever you feel, be sure that is what you feel.”
– T. S. Eliot
Somehow, we’ve slipped down the slope to where everyone seems to think they should think for everyone else. Everyone should want the same things, the big house, the nice cars, the fancy vacations. And, perhaps most sadly of all, feeling seems to have become a lost treasure. We’re numb from all the media, all the crap, all the static — all the “influence” others want to have over us and that we want to have over them.
Our own thoughts. Our own desires. Our own feelings. Worth seeking. Worth protecting. Worth developing. Worth committing to.
