“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun; just find the fun and snap, the job’s a game…”
– Mary Poppins
Like many things in life, it may not be that simple. And, like most things in life, it very well may be just that simple.
Unless we’re retired or completely unencumbered to anyone else, there will be parts of today that are less enjoyable than others. There will be jobs, or subsets of jobs that must be done, but just don’t seem to have any “sugar” in them — at all.
We gan grimace, grind and groan through, or we can find a spoon full of something that a) gets us through it with a smile, and b) provides that element of fun.
Both get us to the other side, the latter just gets us there with less wear and tear!

Retirement is fantastic but it’s not perfect either; we have things we need to accomplish on a regular basis. Finding the fun in those tasks where it’s not obvious is a great suggestion for us “older” folks too!
Miss you man!
