“Because they think in terms of learning, people with the growth mindset are clued in to all the different ways to create learning.”
– Carol S. Dweck, Ph.D. and author of “Mindset; The New Psychology of Success”
Reflect for a second on how powerful that is.
“…all the different ways to create learning.”
My friend and fellow Spartan (no, not the Michigan State kind, dang it!), Marty, reminded me about this book, and in conjunction with receiving an inscribed copy from my Brother (and fellow Spartan), Michael Lee, I am reading it for the third (maybe fourth) time.

It’s pretty futile to measure our accomplishments against someone else’s. It’s pretty empty to only count wins and losses, even if we get paid for wins and losses.
For the Difference Maker, it’s about how we continually grow, and how many of our God-given Gifts we maximize.
Creating learning is a powerful calling. To create learning is to leave a wake, an imprint, a permanent, indelible mark on the people and things around us. Creating learning means never, ever getting bored, stagnant or stale. Creating learning means that while others are trying to grow up, we’re constantly growing out.
How will we create learning today? How much of a difference will it make when we do?
