“I’m not sure how many problems I have because math is one of them.”
- Yesterday’s entry on my sister’s funny daily calendar
I mean, it’s funny, right? Like, spit out my coffee funny when she texted me the picture yesterday.
Now, substitute the word “opportunities” for the word “problems.”
It’s not nearly as danged funny. But it’s equally valid.
I drove two hours yesterday to meet with a guy I knew disagreed with us and to sit in a room I could have Zoomed into on The Interthings. In between, I met the owner of a microbrewery, who gave me four or five insights that will energize and help me help my client today.
According to the funny-calendar-math, the “problem” was the four hours in the car. The flip side, the less funny (yet exciting) side, is the multiple opportunities enduring the problem uncovered.
Now, someone give me a hand while I step down off my soapbox.
(See, that’s funny, too, from where I sit. And it’s my blog. So there!)
