“To one who has Faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without Faith, no explanation is possible.”
– St. Thomas Aquinas
Thoughts on Faith and Belief — with upper case intent and context, for Easter weekend…
In the final analysis, what we believe dictates what we can accomplish. What we Believe, however, dictates who we are. If we have faith, much is possible, but when we have Faith, well, by definition, anything is possible.
In the final analysis, our faith and belief can often be explained — with hindsight and perspective as parts of the formula. Our Faith and Belief, however, not only defy explanation, they make it a moot point.
In honor of the events of the next three days, both in 2013 AD and as they occurred 2013 years ago, may we seek comfort and hope over explanation, peace and wonder over logic and confidence in tomorrow via our Faith, and our Belief in it.
A difference was made those many years ago. And our path is set (and safe) thanks to its making.

I’m not sure why; however, I’m always amazed at how “on target” you are!

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
