“We are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question that divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being correct.”
– Niels Bohr (1885 – 1962), Danish physicist, as quoted in Tim Ferris‘ 5-Bullet-Friday newsletter
It was crazy to think we could sit in a seat and fly, but Orville and Wilbur weren’t deterred.
It was crazy to think we could have a better camera in our phone than the Mac-Daddy one I bought for journalism classes in 1980, but Jobs and others weren’t deterred.
Sometimes, we have to put our crazy on to move the needle.
When we do, within reason, we ought to try to be undeterred…long enough to see if it has a chance of being correct.
